This exciting role is positioned to push the boundaries of AI research while fostering interdisciplinary integration with cutting-edge advancements in brain science and neuroscience.

This invigorating role will lead a team in developing an innovative on-device AI model capable of real-time learning from user-specific data, mimicking real-world user behavior with precision. The work involves advancing AI techniques, including external memory integration with LLMs, exploring non-transformer model architectures, and pioneering solutions for long-term memory and personalization. Supported by real-world data, unlimited computing resources, and interdisciplinary collaboration, this position offers the opportunity to drive AI applications across industries like AI2B, AI4C, and AI4Health.

What you will be doing:

• Lead a team to conduct cutting-edge research and author high-impact papers focused on long-term memory.
• Train external memory models in tandem with "parameter-frozen" LLMs.
• Facilitate localized parameter updates by identifying original facts within LLM features.
• Develop innovative AI model architectures, going beyond transformers, to enhance long-term memory utilization and support personalized model training.
