POSITION OVERVIEW:
Dealerware seeks to hire Corporate Counsel with strong commercial in-house, software licensing, and corporate contract experience. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal issues for a highly successful growing SaaS in the rapidly developing mobility sector. As Dealerware Corporate Counsel, you will partner with the General Counsel as subject matter experts to provide legal advice and support across all aspects of Dealerware’s B2B mobility platform business and the Silvercar by Audi B2C rental car business.

Reporting to the EVP of Corporate and Legal Affairs, the ideal incoming Corporate Counsel is a self-motivated, collaborative problem solver, a great multitasking generalist with a passion for professional growth, and a skilled communicator who can inspire people to drive organizational growth and success.

Dealerware is headquartered in Austin, TX, and operates remotely with quarterly corporate office visits.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts
  • Provide advice and support on a wide range of legal matters, including mobility sector regulation, IP, privacy, litigation, and corporate governance
  • Play a primary role in the contract’s management process, including leading the contract approvals process and supervising the company’s contracts management platform
  • Work with team members at all levels of the company, including the CEO and other leadership team executives

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate law, in-house practice, or commercial in-house legal setting
  • Active Bar Membership.
  • Significant direct experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Software licensing experience
  • Promotion of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment and actively working to implement and strengthen these priorities.
  • Experience working in-house for a rapidly growing company.
  • Other relevant sector expertise, such as in the mobility sector

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This fantastic, full-time opportunity offers a competitive base salary of $120,000 to $140,000 DOE, plus bonus potential, equity, tuition reimbursement, unlimited PTO, medical, dental, vision, paid parental leave, unlimited access to Udemy, 401k, and discounts on Silvercar rentals and participation in the Audi Employee Lease Program.
