About Slave 2 Nothing Foundation:
The Slave 2 Nothing Foundation’s mission is to free people from being enslaved to any person or substance. We fulfill our mission by providing financial support to organizations in seven states and local communities where In-N-Out Burger does business. Financial support is granted to:
1.         Assist individuals and their families to gain freedom and healing from substance abuse
2.         Create, educate, and assist with solutions to eliminate human trafficking
In-N-Out Burger supports and underwrites all costs of the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation.

Position Overview:
The Executive Director is responsible for managing a team and overseeing the strategic plan, programs, grant process, and administration of the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation in fulfillment of the mission to help those who are enslaved by any person or substance. This includes being a champion in the fight against addiction and human trafficking while expanding relationships in the community, with donors, and within the organization. This position will be a member of the Community Engagement Department established by In-N-Out Burger as part of its Mission Statement to assist all communities in In-N-Out’s marketplaces to become stronger, safer, and better places to live.  The Community Engagement Department includes the In-N-Out Burger Foundation, Fundraising, Community Giving, and Community Impact/Volunteer teams and oversees support for the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation. The Executive Director will report directly to the Community Engagement Department Head, as well as work closely with the President of In-N-Out Burger and co-founder of the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation and its grant distribution, strategic planning, site visits, fundraising, communication and marketing, speaking engagements, and special events.
  • Develop short- and long-term strategies that advance the foundation’s mission and actively participate in vetting organizations for grants, including in-person site visits.
  • Actively participate within our communities and with business leaders, developing key relationships and partnerships to expand the foundation’s visibility, impact, and execution of its strategic vision and objectives.
  • Partner with the fundraising team to develop fundraising strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the foundation’s vision and mission, sustain the foundation’s financial health and well-being, and explore new ideas and opportunities for long-range planning and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic planning, goals, priorities, fund distribution, and the foundation’s performance.
  • Oversee the Slave 2 Nothing team and resources ensuring it is operating in alignment with the mission of the foundation and the organization as a whole.
  • Lead, coach, develop and positively contribute to each team member’s growth and performance at a level that adds value and enhances their development and contributions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in non-profit, business, social work, or similar field; master’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of Foundation or nonprofit experience, with five (5) or more years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with human trafficking and/or substance addiction desired.
  • Foundation and/or financial granting experience desired.
  • Skilled manager; Demonstrated ability to manage direct reports and collaborate with others on the team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the foundation mission to associates, donors, volunteers, and the community.
  • Active fundraising and financial management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
In addition to a competitive base salary of $105,000-$142,500 (DOE), this opportunity offers a robust benefits package with fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, Profit Sharing Plan, 401k, 22 days PTO, 6 sick days, and a quarterly bonus potential!
